Today’s Football 2021/22 Season

Klopp has them back on the juice. Back end of last season and start of this one they’ve been playing absolute riff raft like Tsimikas Jones Milner Origi Nat Phillips Rhys Williams Kabak and yet they’re on an unbeaten run stretching almost 20 games and they’re barely conceding goals at all. Some of those players are barely premier league standard ffs. If any of them played anywhere else they’d be lucky to even make a premier league squad let alone a first team and yet that lot didn’t miss a beat with them in the first team.

How is it that if United are missing Fernandes they fall apart, Chelsea aren’t as good without Kante, City look a shambles if Kompany wasn’t playing or now Dias. Yet with that lot they just get some utter carthorse out to replace one lf their top players and will go and batter a premier league team away from home like it’s nothing. Not that their top players are ever injured, it took Pickford taking one of their knees out before Van Dijk missed a match ffs. This was the same bloke who couldn’t get off the treatment table at Southampton. Similarly for Salah and Mane. Do they ever get an injury, like ever? It’s been about 5 seasons of just monster form every week 3 games a week never missing a beat.

They’ve defied all normal rules of premier league football. The squad argument won’t hold up here, Klopp is trolling the entire league. Tuchel Guardiola and Solskjaer with their world class squads will keep dropping points whilst the squad with no reserve right back, one holding mid, and no real number 9 will keep winning every game barely conceding regardless of what utter chaff they put on the pitch.

He has presided over one of the most blatant artificial performance uplifts of any group of players you’re ever likely to see. I mean look at that squad ffs, yet for two seasons in a row they were performing at levels beyond even prime Barcelona. They then had 12 months off where they showed how bang average they were, where a team that had previously barely dropped a point for 24 months suddenly started getting shellacked all over the place by the dross of the league. I mean even Everton, in the midst of being terrible, without Allan and DCL, went to Anfield and won easily. Burnley won there. Fulham won there. You don’t go from being that good, to that poor just because a centreback got injured. Firmino and Mane couldn’t even get shots off in games they were so ponderous and slow.

Not now though, they’re all smack back at it, back to winning every 50/50, first to every ball, back to having the two fastest fullbacks in the league and Mane and Salah looking like the best in the world again.

Klopp is a cheat and the sooner he pisses off from the league the better for everyone.
I think you need to step back a bit here.

In the time period you're referring to Liverpool have done nothing at all. If that's being back on the juice, it hasn't paid off for them - despite being 20 games or whatever unbeaten. They've come in games last season when they had no pressure on them. They were desperate to get a CL slot and the teams they played were either relegated or not arsed. This season they haven't stolen a march on anyone.

There is no way over 38 games the squads of United, City or Chelsea end up earning less points than a squad stretched even this early in the season and suffering calamitous or niggling injuries. The big fear is that they focus on the CL - and there they CAN ofer a threat. The PL? No chance. 38 games with what they have at their disposal gets you nowhere near a title. They fell apart after Christmas last year. They were ok without VVD. Top at Christmas. Then the games caught up with them. Thick and fast. And they couldn't hack it.

Overall with Liverpool for me: one title in 30 odd years. Never forget that. Hardly ever are they a very good bet for the title.
