City shouldn't mess about with this Kane chase, Levy is gonna up the price after that

Go and spend 100 on Haaland, got your striker for ten years
This should have been the strategy from day one.

And I like Grealish but I'd rather spend 200m on Haaland and not get either Kane or Grealish than let someone else sign Haaland.

We'd be the same IF it happened to us.
And we've won nothing for a generation.
We’ve sold the best young talent of a generation in Rooney, guaranteed goals in Lukaku and World Cup Golden boot winner Lineker in my lifetime ! I’m well aware of the upheaval it cause mate !!

Spurs need to cash in now.
He hardly scores in August anyway !

Guaranteed those Digne rumours resurface after that horror show from Mendy.

I'll be honest if City threw £50 million at us I would snap your hands off with the lad now 28.

Would sort us out FFP wise and allow us to sign 3-4 good players for the starting 11 and I've never been fully convinced with Digne defensively.

Wont happen though so a mute point really.

For me City’s season really depends on whether they get Kane or not. If they do, they probably coast to at least a domestic treble. If they don’t, wouldn’t be surprised at all to see United or Chelsea win the league. They desperately need a proper striker now, as the other top teams have clearly strengthened.

I wouldn’t read too much into Spurs’ performance either. Lucas isn’t that good every game, and as someone said earlier - this game was highly reminiscent of ours against Chelsea with Big Dunc. They just won that on sheer effort and force of will in front of a raucous home crowd. Can’t do that every week though, as we saw. And if they do lose Kane, I think they’ll be resigned to fighting for around 6th or so like they were last year - at best.

Not arsed that Man City hypothetically want a player of ours because I'm not convinced he's good enough for Everton. I love our fans. I really do.
