If Barca doesn't go bankrupt they actually have a few decent younger players to build around in the coming years. Going to be tough though when Madrid have Mbappe and Haaland.

Would love to know the context of the Kane chant, after reflecting on it.

We all know the usual context of it, for years and years. But was it "We dont need you", or, "Why join that lot?". @Yid4life

The second one I reckon. Brilliant up there today. Should have beaten then by more. Before the game I said to mate 'we'll leave when it gets to 4-0 for City'. Shows what I know about football.

Barca need a overhaul, when they are not looking like winning anything with Fati, De Jong and Pedri they will be off sharpish.

Pedri refusing to sign a contract, been offered one since late last season and his buyout clause is £70 million rght now, he would be made to sign one when Barca will up his buyout clause to some stupid amount like £500 million and he'll be in a air tight contract while the club is in a financial mess.

On and off the pitch they are a fragmented mess, they won't be able to get Spanish bank loans to bail them out with the Spanish economy even more in a mess after the pandemic.

I can see Pedri at City next year.

Well they only need an overhaul if they can't keep those three around. But if they find some money they probably can and then they'll be alright. Losing Messi means they finally have to make decisions like they don't have Messi which they needed to start doing years ago for the day he inevitably was gone.

Anyway who needs Messi when you've got Braithwaite

If he plays those wide positions in the front 3 of theirs then Sterling, Mahrez, Silva are all better than him. If he plays centrally then De Bruyne is better.
Silva isn't. Raheem isn't if they have a real striker who they want someone to supply. Mahrez and him don't really play the same position as one is exclusively left and the other exclusively right.
