There's been a Bowyer v Dyer esque fight between two players from Galatasaray tonight. Of course, there's a video doing the rounds but I can't seem to post it on here.

Are you also not arsed about subs and just ignoring that it's yet another move of stacking the deck in favor of about 10 clubs like Nymz?

I'll give you a serious answer as I feel like if I don't your head might explode:

In the long run it may be a tool to benefit bigger clubs with deeper squads and keeping more players happy.

As of August 2021 we have just come off the back of a very long season + Euros / Copa / Olympics whilst still dealing with COVID hitting squads. For example, Mainz at the weekend are missing more than 10 first team players due to COVID so had to rely on the youth team so having extra subs to deal with it really helped them. Until things get back to normal I am all for giving more players rest.

I was thinking things were normal enough. Sending players to the Euros/Copa and Olympics was irresponsible behavior.

Considering many teams including our own are still being smacked around by COVID no, it is not normal.
Eh I guess. I thought it was a fixture congestion thing and not so much a covid thing which is kind of just a different style injury crisis that could happen anyway.

Well they haven’t given an official reason, I don’t believe, however since that’s still a big impact it doesn’t need an official reason. You’re against, I think for now it’s fine. Let’s leave it at that.
