I think they were but they’ve lost the plot now.
Getting in Howe and not spending mega money on players but turning things around the way he did was very impressive but since then they spent 60m on Isaac and 40m on Gordon so clearly they’re now having to pay the same big shot tax we did when we started signing Sigurdsson and co. and they’ve not improved.

They've done their usual white-flag act for the RS, but the reality is that they have been stuttering for quite a few weeks now. When they lose the final next Sunday and maybe back it up with a couple more league defeats, they'll be having an average season after all.
