I like Lucas Digne, and still wished he was playing for us. But that was a hopeless corner he took against Arsenal. It was perfect execution for them.

The Haaland mises were funny.

This cryarsing and begging for pope to get to play in the rumbelows cup final after his ridiculous red card is proper weird. Keith Hackett now pleading for him to have his suspension delayed?!?

Where do we stop then? We should have asked for Allan’s dodgy red to be postponed til we were safe from relegation? Joke what a bit of new money does to people.

He handballed, he got a red as he should, he’s suspended - move along.

Some precedent here; Brighton Captain Steve Foster was suspended for their first ever Cup Final appearance v Man U in 1983. Many pleas to allow him to play turned down and yet somehow Jimmy Melia’s plucky lads, helicoptered in to Wembley without their talisman, gained a fortuitous 2-2 draw.
Foster was eligible for the replay which was lost 0-4.

"The renaissance of the Carabao Cup has proven the competition is integral to English football"

Bloody hell. United get to one final and now all of a sudden the competition is considered important again
