Today’s Football 2022/23 Season

We're in this mess because we didn't beat the likes of Wolves (L), Southampton (L), Nottingham Forest (D) and Villa (L) at home. They were the six pointers.

All four of those were winnable games, so even taking three points from half of those would have put us 5–6 points ahead of where we are now - e.g. midtable.

That Cockney divvy couldn't beat an egg yet we kept him in a job for half a season.

Unbelievable.

I know it sucks Leicester into the mix but that is still a horrible result for us.

I don’t see it that way.

A draw was the best result obviousl.

And IMO a Foxes win was the worst outcome.

So Saints winning was the second best outcome for us.

Consultation goals are the best, it ensures all involved are on the same page during post goal celebrations.

That result was fine. Southampton were below us and are below us. Leicester are 3 points above relegation, have less points than games but are safe?? If they're such a good team why are they where they are?
Everyone from Palace down are in the mix, we need to outperform 1 of them and match Southampton and Bournemouth.

I remember watching a documentary about deaths at football matches when I was about 14. It was late night on Channel 4 and the voiceover lady said "Going to a football match may cost you your life".

That nearly put me off for years from ever going to games, but it had a point especially by today's standards.
