Freak results aren't really all that freak though, didn't Southampton get boned 9-0 twice in the same season?

I've not said Liverpool players don't. I've always had a keen interest in PED's over the years and find it an interesting subject.

It's rife in sport and deep down they know but most sporting bodies would rather look the other way then truly fight it as that will cost a lot of money.

The most disgraced athletes for drug cheating never failed a test in the likes of Marion Jones and Lance Armstrong.

Marion Jones was only caught as the BALCO Lab was turned over by the Police. Good documentary on Netflix about the BALCO scandal.

I like a good PED story and the BALCO one is outstanding as it's the only one I've heard of where a chemist actually cooked up something new and people took it - kind of what people imagine goes on all the time with PEDs but in reality is very rare, as almost all PEDs are old drugs and very well understood.

iirc Either Victor Conte or Trevor Graham said that as powerful as THG was for being undetectable, his athletes didn't even need to take it as it was so easy to abuse testosterone with very little risk.

As to where the RS are getting their drugs - Something like BALCO will definitely happen again, if it hasn't already, but hard to see it being the norm imho. Making new chemical entities on the down-low seems unlikely outside of serious state-sponsored efforts.
 

As annoying as it is to see the RS win a game in that fashion, one notable consolation is Bruno Fernades being universally raked over the coal by United fans and the media alike.

He has acted that way on more than one occasion against Everton and because it's only us or United won on those occasions it gets brushed under the carpet but it's nice to see him finally get his comeuppance.

He won't change his ways like, rats like him and Suarez never can, but at least his character is well and truly out in the open now.

He is denying some of the charges. The outcome of which will influence the duration of his ban. The FA needs to follow the correct process with this, it makes sense to leave him playing until all the charges are reviewed and the punishment is decided upon.

Itll only make it worse anyway brenford are way way above safety they cud of easily missed him rest of season

But say his ban is majority of next they could suffer alot more imo
