There was a tradition in the Czech Republic to get behind the club teams regardless of who you supported.

That's been on the way out for a number of years. Possibly as a correlation between the financial rewards for a CL group stage participation and the subsequent distortion of the local competition here.

I can't recall ever wanting an English team to do well in the CL. I often find myself rooting for the English teams in the Europa though.
 
Would like City to win just to pee off the rs cult. I remember the rs spending big in the 70s and 80s to win leagues and E cups, so no different to City imo.

No way will I want City to win as loads of their fans want us relegated.
