They are basically playing for the opportunity to get bummed by City or Madrid.
Yep, the Tuesday match was the first leg of the real final, just like the 1995 Superbowl, it was so obvious the 49ers would beat San Diego and the NFC Championship game between them and the Dallas Cowboys, was seen as the "Real Superbowl", just like Man City Vs Real in the second leg is the real Champions League Final.

Portsmouth Vs West Brom FA Cup Semi in 2008.... That was the real final that season, both teams were better than Barnsley and Cardiff in the other semi.

Everytime I'm reminded about Dzeko's transfer fee in 2016 (11M) I die a little inside.

Coming off a bad season and a middling one and being 30 years old at the time, not an outrageously low fee for me. He couldn't have lasted in the Prem much longer but the slower Italian league suited him.

So the final of the Europa Conference is in Prague in a stadium with a capacity of just 20,800 and each finalist receives 5,000 tickets. Genius UEFA planning ;)

I’m guessing that West Ham going out of this competition would be better for us, otherwise they will rest the entire squad for the Leeds and Leicester games, no?

Alternatively they will be feeling sorry for themselves if they get knocked out and won’t perform
