City will have the League sewn up by November, providing no drastic downturn in form, like *cough* arsenal going unbeaten till xmas and spanking them at the emirates. :celebrate:

World Cup comes at a great time for City, League champions can just chill and enjoy Qatar.
Hope you spank them at the emirates. Liverpool seem to have just brushed Arsenal aside in recent times. It has to be said tho I don’t think you ever beat them at Anfield under Arteta. His antics in that prime documentary before going to Anfield was shocking I think he will always bottle it there.

Anfield has been a bogey ground going back to Wenger years, our last win in the league was the year we signed Cazorla and Podolski.

It's a horrible ground, mentality wise for us over the years. Etihad is worse though, we get spanked 5-6 every time we go there lol.

Yeah that Episode on the Documentary was a weird viewing as an Arsenal fan, was very cringe, but you can understand where he was coming from, it was just shocking how he did it

….well done @Alan Whittle, I only watched the last 30mins but thought Palace set out their stall well. From what I saw, the Reds were limited to shooting from distance and it took a terrific goal to earn them a point.

if I was critical, I think they could’ve managed possession better but even then Palace had 3 very decent chances in the latter stages.

*sigh* Fine, Suppose we'll have to take Liverpool's place for a season and try and stop Man city.

Jokes, although I look at our next 5-6 fixtures, all winnable. Then we have a tricky 4 game run of City at home, leeds away, spurs home, pool home.
You seem to blow a bit hot and cold under Arteta, every time you look ready to step up you have a couple of bad results and go backwards.
You seem to be recruiting well but top 4 must be your target.

Very pleased with the overall performance. We had a chance late on to win it but tbh a draw was a brilliant result. Only criticism is we need to retain the ball better. We gave it away too easily too often last night.
