Can't stockpile the talent they once could, and it's no golden generation of youth production either. The vanity projects days are done, sovereign wealth funds and the landscape of the multi multi billionaire are the zeitgeist. It'll be like going back in time to when East Germany won more medals per head of populace than anyone. Grim times.
Napoli and Atalanta say hi btw

I like Sunderland. The beach ball incident was glorious. They also relegated the horse punchers a few years back if I recall correctly. Our cup win there was “good times”. Plus all the crap they’ve dealt with over the years. I’ve got a lot of time for them, and would love to see them beat Newcastle next season.

That said Luton in the premier league would be fun.
I like Sunderland actually, I think one reason is because I don't like Newcastle and last time I was in Sunderland I noticed someone had gone round painting over the word Newcastle on quite a few road signs.

watching luton mate but I can imagine how bad it is

I think you're forgetting when we had mirallas, deulofeu, bernard, richarlison though then the rest of the league over here

Ours is shocking too
This is different - remember how Newcastle were against us? Longstaff or whoever it was dropping and rolling around at every opportunity?

Well, 22 of the same, on one pitch, both managed by Sam Allerdyce and playing for a draw (despite Inter leading 2:0?!?). Several players are currently hobbling but not going off just to time waste, and we're 60 minutes in lol

Edit: ah no, an actual sub is happening soon, but Thiaw rolled around for a bit and had some theatrics in there.
