I think the fact he’s visible upset whilst talking means so much that.

The fact he’s been doing it for the last 4 years without a big song and dance is a nice touch too. Now the time is right to raise awareness, he’s done it.

What a bloke, by all accounts a horrible footballer, but you can’t do anything other than applaud him here.

Feels like LaLiga is not just losing, but even kicking away, one of the best players in the competition in recent years, just by not being active on this front (or being supportive of racists).

I mean "isolated incidents" by "just two individuals that have been banned FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!", and definitely not crowds singing "vini is a monkey" or anything like that. Totally isolated incidents, nothing to see here.

I think a lot of the black players at all the La Liga clubs need to come out and make a stand. Its disgusting that it should fall on players but nothing else is getting done. Be great if they all just refused to play.

Clubs need to start being deducted points for scenes like this and the one in Italy with Lukaku. 1 or 2 idiots, ban for life. A whole stand? Should have to forefit the game. They may stop when its their team and club being punished.

But we also need real education starting young.

As it should be everywhere - lowkey impressed we here (in Bulgaria, yes that one, even if that was a show on purpose but a different topic) managed to tone it down as the years went on. You see a lot of black players, asians, etc. in our league now, without any major problems, or at least none that have gone unpunished like this.

Shocking one of the biggest competitions is so inept for no reason, really.

Think the chant they usually use is Tonto which has been changed to mono the third one sounds like Tonto. The first two clearly are mono I think which is obviously monkey. Hard to believe really living in Valencia region myself, very disappointing and sickening

Isn't this like their 5th isolated whole-crowd chanting accident in the last year or two? That's truly shocking.
