Chairmen all over Europe plotting how much money they gonna screw him out off in the summer.

The fella is clearly very intelligent, it baffles me how utterly stupid intelligent people are sometimes.
Someone like Levy would definitely take him to the cleaners.

All except for our affable chairman... Bill and Tom. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. 🤦‍♂️

Tuchel was doing really poorly to be fair, incredibly negative tactics, signed auba and alienated lukaku while playing his crap germans up front.

Done a poor job at bayern, won nothing at dortmund and done the bare minimum PSG, he's a hype job
Somebody at Chelsea bought 700m worth of players only for them to play Kai Havertz up top.

If it wasnt for us, they would be a laughing stock.

You mean the Director of Soccer (sorry, football), who doesn't have a clue about the game, let alone building a successful squad?

It reeks of when Moshiri came in and trusted Walsh to spend millions on players, but there was no strategy - it was ad hoc and disjointed.

The issue is they've spent even more on players, on longer contracts and with an even more heavily bloated squad. A real, real mess.

That sleezy old beaut walshy gets a free ride pretty much, he set us back decades and now pretends he wanted to sign messi and haaland but got held back

My ex is like that. The problem is that they don't know where their competency begins and ends. They think they know everything because they're smart, Dunning-Kruger eats their lunch on the stuff where they lack knowledge, and they can't figure out why bad stuff keeps happening over and over again.

One big thing working for the bank taught me is that people with huge incomes who mismanage their finances screw them up a lot worse than normal people, because they can borrow a whole lot more money.

They also often have advisors like agents and accountants, who do shady things to support a beyond-means lifestyle because it's how they keep getting paid, and know the ins and outs of hanging that stuff on the high-income person when the house of cards comes crashing down. That's how they end up in prison, rather than just bankruptcy court. If the advisors are shady enough and steal enough, that's when they end up in prison instead.

Boehly won't end up in prison, but he has made an impressive start on the footballing equivalent, which is relegating Chelsea.
