After matches lol

So we'll get incorrect/corrupt decisions, select recordings broadcast that don't cast a too unfavourable light on officials, and then the odd apology thrown around for their incorrect decision-making.

I don't get why they can't just do what they do in rugby?

Public comment:

"Sorry, we can't release the recordings due to a technical issue"

Translation:

"We thought we made it clear to refs to be more subtle in their corruption/bias"

Barcelona are like a posh couple who got a glimpse of the way the rest of the world lives (Europa League) and now they'll do whatever it takes to not go back there

This is the big one for me.

They should make it as transparent as possible, so the fans know what's going on rather than being in the dark, which helps fuel the negativity.

They pretty much have to. If you stop and think about it for a minute, they've sold the club's identity down the river. The only thing they have left going for them is the perennial deep Champions League runs. If they lose that, they quit being a destination and the whole thing collapses on itself.

All they can do is bank on Xavi's ability to extract results from less/younger talent than their nearest competitors are deploying for long enough to weather the storm. It's not a bad bet - I can't think of anyone better suited to do it there - but if it fails then they're done.

More sports that want to prove they're not the WWE should do this. Knowing Prem players, the league would either have to put it on a brief delay to censor all the foul language the ref's mics would pick up, or start handing out draconian fines the way they do in golf.

A two birds with one stone scenario. Make it live to the public both on TV and if possible in the stadium; if someone swears, you card and fine them.

Still a club owned by its members, the biggest club to be organized this way not owned by a corporation, billionaires or foreign state. Not many clubs can course correct through voting and that quickly. Their identity remains the same for more than a century

Everyone convinced doom is on the horizon and no one will want to play for much less attend matches - no question they will be left guttted at what lies ahead

PSV 1-0 up against Monaco… Branthwaite not in the squad, apparently still isn’t completely ratified. Would be ace for him if he managed to get some Champions League game time.

Sangare looks good, but he does still makes some weird decisions at times. Gakpo looks sharp.
