Well no, in the eyes of the FA, Allan’s was a red card, because they even rejected our appeal. Therefore a precedent has been set. In the eyes of the FA, those sort of fouls are red card offences. And this one in many ways was worse.

Being pissed off at a complete lack of consistency is not being conspiratorial.

Actually I would quibble Pope in that list. He's looked very shaky for England in the past. He was unable to participate in the build up play like Pickford does. It caused a bit of panic in the back line
