It didn’t look like a foul at first because the direction the ball went it’s only on a replay you realise that eriksen got the last touch on the ball after odgegaard’s sly tackle from behind nudging into him

There's a enormous difference between that challenge and a leg breaking tackle. That was barely a nudge.

The question for me, is is that a "clear and obvious error". I'm not convinced.

But admittedly this is a wider question of how VAR is implemented, which is woeful.

Well I disagree obviously. I find the idea that leaning on a player is a foul pretty laughable.

How are they reviewing that but not Van Dijks challenge yesterday?

Because one was a goal and the other was a challenge which was deemed a yellow card which occasionally might have been a red, but not enough for VAR to intervene imho.

I think the VAR try and scrutinise any goal these days regardless, which is half the problem like.
