They could be a surprise package. Good keeper. Back 4 is ok but Varane is exceptional. Midfield three of Casemiro Eriksen Fernandes is world class if they can gel. Front three are rapid with depth. Ronaldo is hardly a bad impact sub late in games.

Any team that can beat Liverpool and Arsenal (if they do) should be taken seriously if they got on a roll.

I don’t think any team that has the players you just listed at their disposal should ever be labelled “a surprise package” tbh.
