England, after qualifying, had a goal difference of +80, and didn't concede a goal. I don't remember England men's team being that good. lol
England's women's team are probably the most advanced in terms of professionalism and so on with WSL. On a par with the US and Sweden. They've probably a 20 year head start I'd guess.

Ireland's side are on an upward curve now qualifying for the WC play offs but 10 years ago they were having to hand back their tracksuits in the airport after a game.

The mens game was in a similar place 20 or 30 years ago with those small soviet satellite nations getting battered. The women's game will get more competitive in the next decade.

Some close matches in the qualifiers for the Women's world Cup tonight :

Czech Republic 7- Belarus 0
Austria 10 - N.Macedonia 0
England 10 Luxembourg 0
Armenia 0 - Belgium 7
Poland 7 - Kosovo 0
Switzerland 15 - Moldova 0
Bulgaria 0 - Germany 8
Eastern European women are way too traditional and patriarchal to play or care about football.

What happens if Potter gets 4 wins in 28 games (all competitions) while at Chelsea?
He doesn't get that many games if he only has four wins.

Can't see the Potter shouts myself. Reeks of Moyes to United, and we all know how that worked out.

Tuchel out.

Shows 3-4-3 is a rubbish system
He lifted the European Cup with it. IMO, what it shows is that it doesn't work without the correct two mids. He hasn't had the usual suspects for most games, and it shows. They're on pace to leak twenty more goals than they have in either of the past two seasons, which will mire a formerly top 4 club in midtable.

They're also back to scoring like they did two years ago, and it's not clear to me how he thought Auba would be the answer after what happened. It's a deserved sacking. He spent a ton of money to not address obvious problems.

Does a record that's now expunged really matter? Most managers of non-elite teams go on poor runs.

He has 12 wins in his last 28 Brighton games (all comps) as things stand. That includes 10 in the last 15.
Thing with Potter is this though, he takes time to implement his methods, you also can't understate just how much the Brighton DoF has done to help that team come together.

Take Potter out and throw him into the Chelsea job without an excellent DoF and full backing of both with a long term plan from the owner.

And what you'll have is a manager with no weight of winning anything behind him, or if recruitment at the level of player profile that Chelsea demand is recruited, thrown into a dressing room with a lot of division and huge names/egos.

Recipe for a Moyes at United version 2.

I'm not saying they should go for Potter I just thought the "4 wins in 28" comment was dumb.
