We are £170 million in debt after spending almost 1/2 a billion on transfers of rubbish - that's why we need a Brighton model....
I peg all the blame on Moshiri’s ‘narrow window to catch the top 6’ speech and following methodology

Why was it narrow? Why did we have to mindlessly chuck money at players and managers who didn’t really want to come?

The relative discipline and competence Newcastle have shown in the same situation has shown how we should have approached it.

What's insane about that?

What was insane was looking at the Chelsea model.
Potter going to Chelsea always appeared to be a combination that wouldn't work, although I don't think that should be the case.

Even without Abramovich and his perchance for sacking managers, the new owners showed their nature with the spending with a scatter gun approach.

The owners aren't going to be sat here thinking their investment is going well, so he'll be jettisoned sooner rather than later. Chelsea and patience are antonyms.

TBF I think Potter would have worked under the previous regime - Roman did sack a lot of managers but he was clearly trying to get the club to a point where its youth system could have sustained it.
