He slipped. Poor technique. Harsh? Absolutely. But penalties are harsh.

Atletico always find a way to come up short against Real. I mean, there's the obvious money gap - and in the end I think that's the true difference. Real can buy the very best players - and the very best tend to come up trumps in the most rarefied of moments.
