Basically Jon Duran-ed him and is playing 20mins here or there.
Especially when they need a goal.

What they gonna do? Sell him? They'll have no strikers unless they make Rashford perm...which is a downgrade from Watkins IMO.

See Onana is still firmly in the “he’s got a dead high ceiling” category, whilst actually only really doing the absolute easiest of tasks on the pitch and staying well out of anywhere he could have to really take responsibility for changing a game.
I’ve never been a fan because of this, but can see there is clearly plenty there he is not getting out of himself. Needs a good shake. Seasons are ticking away for him. Needs to be in a different (top flight) league for me where he may flourish.

Thought that was a deserved City win overall. thought they had cost themselves missing 2nd half chances. But as soon as it said Villa had conceded 7 90min goals. you had that little thought would it happen again

It's been rather clear that the difference between City's most effective teams and this one is their previous ease in stretching teams with constant overloads in wide areas, and their wingers (Sané/Sterling/Mahrez) getting beyond the wingbacks and inevitably finding a blue shirt with a cut back. Game had been calling out for Doku, glad to see him make the difference
