I think Spurs really ought to be aiming for the top four this season with the firepower they've got in the squad - no other club in the division, except for Liverpool I guess, has as many options: Richarlison, Kulusevski, Werner, Johnson, Solanke, Son. Many different kinds of forward there too. They've invested heavily in the squad and really don't have any excuses not to challenge for silverware and get very close to the top four this season.
Everton, for example, have DCL and potentially Broja if he ever returns from injury. Neither Beto nor Chermiti would get in any other squad in the Premier League, but tbh no point comparing Everton to Tottenham as we'd need a lot of luck to turn into a club of that calibre within the next decade.
