Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

They’ll win the last 2 games and could stick a few on Ireland to make the goal difference up, I think England will finish top.
Yeah maybe, although Greece in Athens will be a difficult game. Does it make any difference to seedings whether we're in league A or B? I'm not really arsed whether we get promoted or not really unless it affects our seedings in qualification groups or tournaments

Greece away will be tough. But I think we’ll go there with a proper team out and get the job done.

I think it might affect seedings eventually, as you’ll be playing against lower ranked opposition consistently and consequently your world ranking would be affected if you were to be in the B league long term.

Given his chance and chickens out.

I don’t blame him. The media witch hunt for him has been a disgrace. They were out for him before game 1 had even kicked off, saying he should be sacked because he didn’t want to sing a song about a sausage fingered nonce.

Our media are shameful, and for his own sake I don’t want him anywhere near the job long term. Even today he’s getting slated in the media because the performance wasn’t good enough apparently, the last fella had a free pass for 8 years with no scrutiny in the media whatsoever. Absolute gutter journalists, they won’t stop until they’ve forced Southgate back into the role. Whoever takes the job is on a hiding to nothing.

Wales look alright under Bellamy, knocking it about quite comfortably.
Chalk and cheese, compared to Page’s time as manager. So many argued that it wasn’t Page, it was the limitations of the available players that resulted in drab football, a world cup fiasco and Euro qualification failure.

Bellamy’s got a lot to learn still, but his playing style is so refreshingly different, much easier on the eye and delivering decent results, with the same players.

Sound like a familiar argument ?
