Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Newcastle two on one through on goal dying seconds of course the ref blows up.
When time is up, that's it. It has always been false when one team is attacking to allow play to continue. The only time to extend play is when a penalty has been awarded, with the offence taking place before the final whistle, but the kick not taken when time is up. THEN, you extend 'play' beyond full time for the kick to be taken.

Watching motd one of the clearest pens you will ever see, directly in front of referee to Newcastle, how was that not given ?

Doing there best to airlift them to the title aren’t they, those decisions were just baffling, especially as VAR checked them.

How Virgil van Bader got away with the assault on Gordon just beggars belief.

Come on mate do you really think the ref would have blew up with such precision of that was Liverpool attacking ?

Arsenal are playing like peak Wimbledon—pure and simple, there's nothing else to their game. They're so negative. People often compare them to Chelsea under Mourinho, but that's unfair to that Chelsea team.

Mourinho's Chelsea had plenty of flair and exciting talent. Players like Cole, Duff, and Robben, and later Hazard, could light up the game and dismantle most teams.

In contrast, watching Arsenal right now feels completely uninspiring. To compare them to that Chelsea side is an insult.

Additionally, Chelsea weren’t bottlers—they had incredible mental fortitude, something this Arsenal team lacks.

Obviously, Arsenal are my preference above the RS and Citeh but I'd love it if Chelsea pipped them to the title. Their supporters would cry for weeks, and Piers Morgan would commit suicide live on air.

You miss the point completely regarding the correct application of the end of the game. You did not reply to that at all.

But I agree with you that the RS get so many of those kind of decisions going in their favour...
