Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Was chatting to.a City ST holder on Friday and he's absolutely convinced that the players have been told to expect bad and I mean very bad news from the commission dealing with the allegations of rules breaches.
So in lieu of last season's hopeless promoted trio and a 22/23 Leicester side with a defence like an elephant's minge, that's what's gonna save us this season....

Maybe someone up there does like us.

Looked it up, because I’m a stat nerd, but after tonight, Southampton have one point less after 16 games than the Derby team from 07/08 that hold the worst points total in PL history, by Boxing Day the Rams had 7 from 19, the Saints could very well go into 2025 with less than that even if Martin is sacked tomorrow given they have Fulham, West Ham and Palace over Christmas

In terms of the other lowest points totals, they’re on the same points as Sunderland 05/05 (finished on 15), 3 fewer than Sheffield United last season (finished on 16), 5 fewer than Huddersfield in 2018/19 (also finished on 16), 1 fewer than Villa in 2015/16 (finished on 17) and 9 fewer than the Sunderland 2002/03 side that originally set the bar (who finished on 19

All because Rodri is injured my arse. They've been on something and now aren't
Only obvious conclusion same with RS, how did they go from destroying teams week in week out in 2021/22 to struggling most weeks. Outplay United last season win 3-0 at Old Trafford lose to them at home this season. How both City and RS have same thing where they have 2 years and being unplayable then fall apart is ridiculous. How both City and RS players who looked world class all of a sudden look useless is highly suspicious. I think RS stopped doping before United FA cup game last season.
