Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Trying to be a smart rrs?

My post is about the difference between what some of our fans seem happy with and what I would like to envisage is what a successful club is about. I hope the RS don't win it but at least they've got to another semi final. Almost year in year out they're in finals. While some of our fans are happy with 17th.
No ones 'happy' with 17th, relieved on occasion perhaps.

After years and years of mismanagement, allocating blame for our position on 'some of our fans'. Using a different club in different circumstances with different options and opportunities is poor method of evaluation. I'd rather the new owners focused on our own situation and evaluated that with complete objectivity.

No substance in the world can make you better at football mate  he's already rapid regardless just can't kick a ball.
It can, it's not going to make Beto into Bergkamp. But with RS under Klopp, it helped them play high intensity football week in week out and have extra energy in latter part of games. If your game plan is based on hoofing it to Mane, Salah and Firmino and getting goals on break doping does help. As United's manager hinted it, when he said it was hard enough for them to compete in.1 competition, never mind 4 that RS were competing in.

Yeh but it's Mudryk, that's all he can do without the juice. Mane, Salah and Firmino were/are actually good at football.

Call it what you will.

The RS are successful, with cups especially, I think that is a benchmark. Certainly should be for Everton. Different levels yes.

Unless you have a lower benchmark that is.

The (existing) Club certainly has a far lower benchmark. I hope TFG want to make Everton great again.
