Yeah but Wickham was in. Altidore had done the hard work. Bit the pillow in frustration & I'm not a S'land fan

United could find it very difficult to get to the top. Previously they were able to buy the best players in the Premiership regardless of position. Keane, Cantona, Pallister, Ferdinand, Cole, Van Der Saar, RVP, Rooney etc.

These days there's too much competition for these places and we curiously find out that they draw of playing at the 'Theatre of Dreams' isn't quite so strong when United can't pay the highest wages nor offer the certainty of at least challenging for the league title.

They're a new Arsenal with a poorer manager in charge. Di Maria is good but maddeningly incosistent, don't think he'll be enough.
