Van Persie and Rooney are so easily dispossessed, great finishers but their build up play really doesn't help United at all.

Throw in the duo of Valencia and Young as wing backs and the attacking options look bleak.

United have like 4 top players but the amount of rubbish they have around them brings them players down a level, LVG aint gonna sort this out before the window shuts

lets be honest, moyes was battered for doing better things than this in his time at united - with a much weaker squad nowhere near as large budget (could have been for him not spending it though)

LVG at least has the lowered expectation from last year's performances, Moyes had "we won the league with this squad" hanging round his neck.

Nothing more than a come together. Thats the problem with Young these days. Its in his mindset now to simulate whenever he gets an opportunity. He doesnt even appeal anymore because he knows he shouldnt of done it.

Well yeah.

The laws of the game state that pushing an opponent is a foul. The defenders arm clearly comes out and pushes Young so i'm not quite sure how it's not a foul really.

All this stuff about being "soft" is bollocks. It's either a breach of the laws of the game thus a foul or it's not.

Kluivert for Ross County?

BBC Scotland's Liam McLeod breaks the news that former Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert is a contender for the Ross County managerial job.

Sensational news.

Kluivert, 38, was assistant to Louis van Gaal at the 2014 World Cup as the Netherlands finished third.

And he is not the only former Barcelona candidate for the job, as ex-youth coach Sergio Lobera is also in the running.
