That's a bit like saying Everton fans are happy with being the people's club, complete drivel really and said by no one with a clue about the fans. Anyway get some salt for that chip best eat it before it gets cold after all these years;)

Back to the game. Maureen came with a no striker option and a 37 yr old crock, no surprised it was defensive. We played so slowly it was easy to get bodies into position.

Positives was the players not leaving any gaps for the Chavs to exploit. Negatives Lack of proper width, Fabregas diving and it was a dive. The contact was minimal in the extreme.

We are a better match for them than we used to be but still a bit to go to match them in a 38 game season. I'd like to think a proper transfer window of 3 players will do that a world class Benzema/Higuain, another experienced CB to replace Mertesacke and Kondogbia/Schneiderlin should do it......wouldn't be holding my breath though.
Excellent win yesterday lads. Watched most of it and it was like the Everton of last year. Take that momentum into next season and you'll be challenging for top 5,keeping Middlesex fc and the rs where they belong, mid table mediocrity.
 
Special mention for Bellerin as well. This kid has a serious future. Easily the best young RB in the league this year. Hope we hold on to him and he doesn't go back to Barca.

Hopefully the way they rejected Fabregas on his return to Barca will be a lesson to him.
 

Arsenal could well finish 2nd and with their second trophy in two years. I'd give quite a bit to be in that position myself, tbh.

It's hard to look down on arsenal when they're doing pretty bloody well.
