johnathan pearce was a wonderful commentator on robot wars, but at football he's terrible. what was all that trash he was spouting about steven gerrard? been terrible for 2 years and scores a late meaningless goal v QPR and now it's "liverpool should never have let him go blah blah" - how has gerrard escaped any criticism for not signing the contract? amazing.

newcastle got 2nd worst defence and 2nd worst GD in the league - they'l be the worst in both by the time season's out if they're not careful.
