Rooney is an appalling choice as captain in my opinion. Absolute scumbag who has held the club to random on more than one occasion being handed the armband. He'd be off at the drop of a hat if he could get more money elsewhere.

Probably is they don't really have anybody who is actually that good plus the right character. Should have gone out and bought an absolute superstar in the summer, not wasted 30m on a potentially good left back, or 30m on an unproven Spanish lid.

Look at them, they are rubbish.
