Ravel Morrison scored a couple of goals today for Lazio. Although not sure about the level of opposition as they ran out 14 nil winners. Baldo Kiete scored 4 also.

Throughly enjoyed that NYC v Toronto game. Decent watch with a bit of everything. 4 penalties in the game, 2 missed. Great goals by Giovinco, an own goal, late equalizer.

Finished 4 - 4... not a bad watch.

Couple of goals for David Villa for NYC, he also missed a pen, still no Lampard. Giovinco with a hat-trick, also missed a pen.

My hometown FC Tucson won their final match of the season, 4-1, coming from behind in the second half. Flared tempers at 2-1 resulted in a red, which caused this to happen:

Clemens beat the keeper, and dribbled it to the goalline. He then came to a complete stop, got on his stomach, and headed it in.

Needless to say showboating resulted in angry peoples and another red, another goal... lots of fireworks in the final eight minutes.

Hahaha quality, like when your playing against your mates as a kid.

Rough night last night.

Semi Finals of the Copa Libertadore, first leg, language confused River Plate beat Guarani 2-0 in Buenos Aires. A three goal win at home next week is a tall order. Got tix, though, and some of my gringo amigos and I will join the throng in cheering the Aurinegra on. Didn't expect them to survive the first knock-out round against Brazilian giants Corinthians, let alone Racing out of BA in the next.
