....being saying for an age that opposing No9 or 10 should block Gerrard. He's still a key playmaker for them and creator of chances. Means hard work for whoever is up top, but you have to put in a shift. Agbon did that today.

Just drove home with live on - man that was funny, kopites all going nuts.

Best one was from London, sounded like a Hammer, saying they should have got Eto'o in the summer and all their players are not up to standard or past it.

Jog on mate.

The algorithms are coming out again...

Last year we got 4 points from these 4 matches. This year we've got 6. 86 points might win us the league, will almost certainly secure top 2.

HAHAHAHAHAHA ignoring the fact they paid £50m to buy southampton's spine and then try and justify it as those extra 3 points mean they'll finish 2nd.

they got beaten so easily by city who have not looked any great shape so far - chelsea are head and shoulders above city this season, so that's immediately down to 3rd

I quite like Gabby as a player, terrific work rate, loves his club, 110%. He's never world class or anything, but he's a fine footballing role model for his club and yes he most certainly did play well again today.

Villa were one of the best to go there last season and played the same way, sitting deep and then hitting them on the break. Can't believe no one else tried to do this and I I hope we learn our lesson this year and do it. They have no pace to help them out when teams counter so you just gotta suck them in and then hit them hard and fast.

Quality weekend of togger results :)

If we try and outpass them again with a high line we'll get beat, we need Bobby looking at Villa and taking notes. A front 4 of McGeady Mirallas Atsu and Lukaku please.
