They're poor with sturridge. Probably better but still poor. They've looked better than awful in one game and even then they needed a soft penalty and a ludicrous mistake to give the scoreline a flattering look.

They depended on Suarez more than Spurs depended on Bale and they've probably spent the money even less wisely.

Disagree mate sturridge has massively surprised me and has been prolific for them, they have half the movement up top when he's out.
