I was chatting with a Spurs ST holder tonight.
He is made up West Ham got that new stadium..

As Spurs are building so close to WHL.

No idea if that's the general feeling, but I was surprised by that from him.

Apparently most of the Wham fans don't want to go to the Olympic Stadium, ingrates.

I refuse to call Upton Park 'Boleyn'.

I just can't fathom how that has always been its name, but everyone has always known it as Upton Park, yet the word 'Boleyn' has come in to fashion in the last year or so. Phenomenal.

Not among Hammers fans it hasn't.

It has always been The Boleyn Ground.....and they have always referred to it thus.

That is its official name.....has been since 1904 or thereabouts when it was built.

The rest of us are only catching up now The Boleyn Ground is shutting down :drunk:

It would be like if we had known Goodison Park as Goodison Park all our lives.....but the rest of the country called it Spellow Lane.

Everton that.

They are wrecking the gaff.

Well in honour of Wham fans, I will continue to call it Upton Park.
