The RS winning the EL will have no effect on the other English places in Europe.
Three teams to go in the EL.....those teams decided using the criteria you mention.
Leicester seeded, Arsenal and Spurs in group stages along with RS (I think)
Man City into qualifiers
unless Man Utd win by 19 goals.. we will assume not.

United do not lose to Bournemouth
1 FA Cup winners Man Utd
2 6th League Southampton
3 League Cup winners (League 7th) West Ham
OR
1 FA Cup winners Crystal Palace
2 5th Man Utd
3 6th Southampton
United lose to Bournemouth
1 FA Cup winners Man Utd

3 7th League West Ham
OR

all the above have significance for the starting point of each of the English teams in terms of whether straight into group stages or not.
Crystal Palace would only qualify after losing the FA Cup final if United racked up the cricket score thereby finished 4th in the PL..

It's a minor consolation I'm sure but if the RS do win the EL they will go into Pot 3 or Pot 4 for the Group stages so at least they face a tough task there.

It's league placing. So Palace winning the cup means the place goes to them. United win the cup and the place goes to 7th. City in cl means their place goes to 6th.

With how tight the coefficient battle will be we need United in Europa. Sending a no mark team like Palace to bomb out early will surely cost us the 4th CL spot. I'm already concerned about Wham doing their usual bottle job in qualifying.

For all the media arse licking of Spurs this season, they finished with two fewer points than when they did with AvB in 2013. Only they can finish third from a two horse race.

Yeah, all those clubs who were within a shout for the title before a ball was kicked should just quietly conclude their seasons and put this one out of their memories, let alone being made up about something. They were beaten to the title by a team that was 5000/1 to win it.
