honestly, why on earth can they just not stop the clock everytime the ball is out of play. It'll cut out all this time wasting and play acting crap and would stop controversy when people moan about refs not blowing up on time etc.

Ball is normally in play for less than 35 minutes on average each half if I remember some stat thing from ages ago
