Today's Football 2016 / 2017 Season

I wouldn't blame Stones in particular. City were poor at Celtic (3-3) when perhaps they started, like last season, to believe their own hype. They were no better at Spurs and - whilst on the attack they were good against us (penalty misses apart) - they were all at sea and missing for our goal. So tonight - a man down and 0-1 you were left wondering who was organising this defence? The new keeper? Nope, he was receiving some pointless instructions from Pep when he should have been on the pitch getting used to the light/talking to his defence. A moment later and the 8 man defence was squeezed into a 15 yards (across) and 5 yards (deep) box - in the same way Celtic ended up with 7 men in their 6 yard box for one of Messi's goals. So what perhaps we're seeing is that Pep is a flat track bully and now he's being handed his backside by well organised and/or very good sides. He dropped Aguero when he really was needed against a disorganised and then re-disorganised Barca back line..
