Klopp's second string have come out desperate to impress. Our second string gave an absolutely disgraceful performance at home to Norwich.
They're miles ahead of us, no doubt. I'd swap Koeman & Lukaku & Barkley for Klopp in a heartbeat.

That was the two best managers in the England on show tonight.

Aye up.......are you saying Pep isn't all that then, Ian ;)
I'm saying Klopp's approach to the game is more suited to this league. He's a fantastic manager and I'd of taken losing that Derby for Rodgers to have kept his job and Klopp to then have gone on to replace Mourinho at Chelsea.

As is Liverpool have dropped lucky. Yet again.

....yep. I like the way they look like scoring goals every time they break. I hope it's a system teams can counter, but they look a real threat to the title to me.

Their inability to defend still means I won't change my league winner prediction.

If your defence system is set up to defend zones ala Arsenal/rs/City during set pieces you will always be vulnerable. Arsenal have tightened it up and with Cech got a keeper that's better in the rough and tumble of set pieces in the Premier League. But you still can't beat man to man marking.

When the rs get knackered from all that high pressing do they have a 'we can't win so let's not lose' set up. Don't think so. The RS will be this season's Newcastle circa 1995.

I reserve the right to deny all knowledge of this post if the RS win the league by 10pts next May.

If Liverpool win the league this season that will be the second season in a row a team not in Europe will have won the premier league.

Today's really interesting fact brought to you via a nice cup of Yorkshire tea.

BBC trolling Jesus Navas

Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City

A great chance for Manchester City! Jesus Navas beats his man and then finds a team-mate with a cross as well - no, really! - but Kelechi Iheanacho heads powerfully over the top.

A massive chance
