Some finish by Bonucci, spoiled by Juve blaring out Chelsea dagger round the stadium after it, awful idea playing music after a goal, let the fans make the noise.

They are. I hate to say it but they are a sensation to watch at times. They're playing a trash team here like, but they are very entertaining.

Anyone still harbouring delusions Klopp isn't a great catch for them?

I am going to be controversial here, Dave.

They are no more "sensational" or "entertaining" than we were last autumn and early winter.

I know myopia rules round these parts, not with your good self I hasten to add, but some of the football we played in the first half of last season was sublime.

With just a wee rub of the green we convert some of the shedload of chances we spurned at Norwich and Swansea, the post does not save Palace three times, Stones doesn't dive in to concede the last minute penno versus Stoke and the linesman raises his flag when John Terry is well offside.

How different, how very different, our season would have been if fortune ever smiled on EFC.

I agree mate. Some of the football we played under RM was top quality attacking football. I just think that this Liverpool team can go out and do that against much better sides than we did under Roberto (first season aside). We also have the evidence of how Klopp sets up from his Dortmund days. They were a very entertaining team and always looked to create bags of chances and hope to take a few of them. That's my - dare say it - philosophy too. And it makes sense too in a league like this, because although it's competitive and every team carry a threat, the bulk of teams are pretty conservative and are there to be taken. Klopp knows that his Dortmund style can win the majority of games over here. He's just being sensible not being cavalier.

Fortune favours the brave.

Any need for that?

Would you like it if we implied that you were not a blue?

Come on lads.

Again, no need.

Fair dos Groucho but its so frustrating to see all the negativity on here 4 months into RK's reign. And no I don't regard myself as a "superfan" nor do I boo players at the game - yes everything at the club is not rosy atm, but Koeman has a huge job ridding the club of the martinez mentality - I do apologize for turning up to Goodison and supporting my team Rant over.

I'd agree with a lot of that and go slightly further to say there's not a lot of difference than them under Brenda, in his first two seasons anyway.

From watching the Palace game live last night, it became apparent that the fast pressing game of the first half could not be carried through into the second half. Palace had the upper hand, I thought, in the second half until they left a gap the size of the Mersey Tunnel entrance for a pass to be slotted through for the fourth goal. A similar scenario unfolded in the Europa League final last season, but the opposition in that final were far better than Palace, and overcame the pressing game to triumph. Jose did a similar thing the other week, but did not have the quality available to him (collectively) to go on the offensive and win the game in the second half. Klopp's on-field plan is clear to see; it needs Managers to come up with the right plan to thwart it...

I thought second half there was an understandable reaction to the first half fireworks. Liverpool had the lead and I suppose Klopp made it an ordinary game from there.

Mourinho did dictate the flow of the United/Liverpool game, yes. But he is a master of stifling an attacking unit and Klopp wont face that type of set up too often this season.

I have to underline: Liverpool are hopeless defensively and that's why they wont win a title playing like this. But this way of playing will get you 70 odd points in a season and you're almost guaranteed CL football with that.

Why would you apologise for supporting Everton? The issue was you implying others are reds.

As for negativity, last Sunday I was called a North Korean dictator for being positive. Go figure.
