That's so weird, that first paragraph could of been written by me, word for word only replacing spurs for Everton !

I made the decision to go fully non-league this season, for the first time in sodding ages I've been enjoying my match days again. I couldn't give a toss about the EPL nowadays tbh.

I'm looking forward to it. I genuinely get more enjoyment from watching Spurs Ladies play these days but impractical for me to do every week so Lewes it is.

Having 85.5k in the ground but the few hundred people trying to generate some sort of atmosphere spread thinly around the stands is soul destroying.

85.5k attendance, 25k hard-core, 15k regulars, and 2.5k away fans leaves 43k day-trippers and tourists.

And exiting when everyone is a 'home' fan is carnage.

Can't do that for a whole season (even with the 51k reduced capacity).

Will reevaluate when New WHL is built.
