Such a shame about John Stones. He let things get to his head too soon. He's got to be very careful or that's a lot of squandered potential.

I agree,I didn't realize he was getting stick off their fans what's the gist of what they are saying mate.

The " step up " and his price tag always meant that he was going to get hammered when made high profile mistakes mate.

It comes with the territory.

He's got to take what's coming to him. Let's see if he starts doing the " calm down calm down " to their fans if they get on his back. I've got no sympathy for him whatsover.

It's literally non-stop on social media. As said, I understand it, we do the same to players, but I do think it's a shame - my mentality if I were them is that he's a work in progress and basically money in the bank for the next decade when he reaches his potential.

Completely agree, but let's put it this way - I'd still have him here in a flash. I know he makes mistakes, his "calm down" gesture was ridiculous, but I still think he's going to be one hell of a player when he approaches his peak, which is still a good five years away.

The problem is, that for the money they paid for him, he's not allowed to be a work in progress, he's supposed to be the finished article, which we all knew he wasn't !
 

Charlie Adams is one dirty #@$!.

Hope Motd highlight his stamp on Sanchez whilst the ref's playing advantage for our 3rd goal.
If there's any justice he'll be getting an early Xmas break .
