And we're in 7th which is honestly fair given the amount of money spent by the 6 teams above us. A 9 point gap between us and 6th is a bit of an issue.

yeah i think based on squads we're equal to what we are. I had hoped for better, but as soon as our summer failures happened, i knew it wouldn't be too great. Didn't think the RS would be as good as they have been, so was thinking we could still finish 5th/6th with a good january, but i wasn't expecting jags to be completely finished, barry to look like he's doing the same as well as all of mirallas, deulofeu, lennon and barkley to all be utterly useless and provide pretty much nothing in offence

... but that's football.

Stoke have shipped 8 in 2 games, admittedly away at that lot and Chelsea, Leicester are 2 games/defeats away from being sucked back in, someone always seems to sink from a seemingly decent position to danger.
