...I wonder if Alex Bruce would have played so many games if his dad wasn't a manager. I remember him playing for United against us in the Lancashire League at Bellefield. Steve Bruce was sitting with Dave Watson on the flat roof overlooking the pitch.

Alex Bruce is somebody you don't trust on a football pitch, he has a tendency to be very naughty in his tackles.

...basic skill but Huddleston kicks a football really well. Give him time and he'll pick a pass, get around his ankles and he's not so effective. Exemplary penalty.
