Today's Football 2016 / 2017 Season

Currently watching Cologne v Schalke. That Japanese lad Osako would suit us playing in behind a striker. Great passing short and long, and moves effortlessly past defenders.
 
I always find our elimination from the FA Cup depressing.

Given we haven't challenged for the League title for a long time it's usually our last hope of silverware, no matter how unlikely.

Hopefully we can win it in the next season or two - signalling our arrival back at the top. :)
Short of winning the title, winning the FA Cup is our priority each season. Not far behind that is the LC.

Finishing 2nd, 3rd and especially 4th are poor substitutes for any silverware.

Football's that crazy these days that I'm pretty sure that ^^^ statement will be seen as heresy, such is the control commercialism has over the minds of modern day footy fans.

Pretty good draw that for us, i'd expect city to win at boro after overcoming their replay.

hopefully the final 4 will be the 4 currently in the CL spots.

just said same,as long as they are semi final 4 [or the 4 you expect] etc we are ok in terms of getting chance of euro place,and man utd winning final next week
