Some honesty from Carragher on the peno![]()
enjoy
Generally when they play a young player they hail them as the next big thing and profile him afterwards which is quite funny. I wonder how many young players have came off the bench in the last year alone and been made to be the next (insert player ) before never getting another game or sold to someone else? Ibe the next sterling for exampleLiverpool are fit, but no team can keep up that sort of intensity for an entire season. Spurs are winning games at a canter, something which is beyond Liverpool. Spurs have a lot more depth too. And, is it just me, or is Liverpool's youth system one of the worst in the league? Most teams, including ourselves, have some solid young players coming up through the ranks, Liverpool don't seem to have anyone to look forward to.
He has scored about 30 goals in 200 games. Compare that to Lampard, Gerrard etc it's pretty moderate....a 5 year contract at £150k per week, you have to wonder if football will still matter to a young man like Coutinho.

They do have a good transfer committee when it comes to selling players like bill. It is a shame for them that they give all the money to Southampton every year.Sterling was from QPR and is actually a decent player. Grudgingly, I have to say fair play to Liverpool with Ibe though. I respect anyone who can take that one time a player hit Everton's post and sell it for 15 million
We are like that though, we oversell all our players , naismith for 8 million or even getting hull to take niasse was a blinding bit of business.
Haha that is very true, none of our players we ever sell really do well once they leave. The last one I can think of was Rooney, maybe yakubu at Blackburn as well, but the rest have been fumed at, at some point or other. Not to mention the 70 million we took off City for Stones and Rodwell. If I were a football team, I would not trust Everton in the transfer window
....he'll be on the slow campaign to get Stevie G La in charge. I can genuinely see it. they will lie low and start chipping away if things are going wrong. Saying it wasn't a pen is not in their culture, in this case it's taking away any excuse Klopp has.

I'm not a religious man by any means but I'm absolutely praying they get Gerrard in as manager. A man who couldn't think his way out of a wet paper bag.
