Referee is a disgrace. If only they had VAR out there. But City need to do much, much more. They left themselves with a mountain to climb and haven't even forced the keeper into a save. Great shot onto the post and the goal and that's it in spite of them absolutely dominating. Jesus is not in the game at all. They may need to sacrifice Silva for Aguero. Can't see who else could go off to get them more attacking? They're only three at the back as it is and Fernandinho is the link between defence and midfield. Sterling maybe? Sane looks quite dangerous. Thankfully the RS could be down to ten if they keep on kicking the City players.

Well yeah, if the ball came back off Milner Sane's position is irrelevant, he can't be offside. If the ball came back off a city player, his position is relevant, and he was offside because he was closer to the goal than the ball and 2 opposition players.

Obviously the ball came back off Milner but you can only assume that the officials didn't realise that and thought it came off the city player.

Wish they’d give the ball more to Bernardo Silva, he’s having more joy than Sane on the other wing. Players sent off here for sure.

Gary Neville hides his bias when commentsting, mcmanamanamanan should take lessons.

It's shocking. Even Carragher does a decent job of looking at things objectively. McManaman doesn't even bother watching replays, his mind is already made up: not a foul, definitely offside, never a penalty... All in Liverpool's favour.

They scored, hit the post, and had one ruled out by a dodgy official. And the same at Anfield.

They could be ahead.
