That Madrid defence is beyond abysmal, on a different night Bayern could have easily hit 5

It was so obvious that Vasquez was being torn a new one and nothing was done about it

Nowhere near what they once were
That is the way they play mate. They roll the dice and get the job done. Tell me they dont get the job done? CL winners 3 out of the last 4 seasons.

Liverpool wont want to face that.

Liverpool have beaten City three times this year. They can definitely beat Madrid in a one off game. I know Madrid have the pedigree and they've been there and done it but it's not like Liverpool will be facing off against peak Barcelona. They're a team you can get at.
Sorry mate, I thought for a second there you were comparing City with Madrid and calling them equals....

Your prediction game isn't what it used to be, long gone are your glory days of predicting them choking the league... it's been one bad prediction after another since then.

Heres hoping you manage to rekindle your former glories.
Sorry mate, you;re mistaken. My predictions have been that as soon as they come up against one of Europe's heads of state they're done for. The final is where it happens unfortunately. But here it is.

I realise some blues are doing the reverse psychology stuff of handing them the trophy already but bollocks to that - it does not reflect the reality here. Madrid are head and shoulders above them. FFS: Henderson, Trent-'kin-Arnold, that beaut of a GK, Robertson....do me a 'kin favour.

Not saying he's necessarily lost it, just at 33 it gets harder to continue playing at the constant high level he has been..... Liverpool have power and pace and will hound him every time he gets possession.... Not confident at all about Madrids chances against Liverpool

That's the Liverpool that'll end up 4th in this league and just lost points to WBA and Stoke?

Ok.

I hope/pray you're right. The key is going to be the midfield. Surely Modric and Kroos can dominate the Liverpool yard dogs.
Of course they can. This Liverpool team have had no test yet. Well they have it now: Madrid in a CL final...good luck with that.....

I get that they have big game players, massive experience compared to the likes of Horrendouson and Robertson. It’s more the game plan, when teams play open it plays into the RS hands.

The high press tonight proved how vulnerable Madrid are because they want to play it out. The hole in between defence and midfield was massively exploited, that’s were the goofy Brazilian does his damage. And the right back, wow...from second 1 it was a problem that was not addressed, better delivery from the LB and the game would have been over in the first half

I think Munich would have suffocated the RS, sat deep and absorbed everything and battered them on the counter. This Madrid side, regardless of the big game players, is very poor tactically

Liverpool will murder whoever wins this, shockingly poor defenses for this level

City play a completely different game than Real. They are arguably the side Liverpool are best suited to playing, predictable patterns of play out the back, no physical presence upfront, don’t care about set pieces, and don’t have a big game mentality.

Madrid (as they have shown) can play on the front or back foot, have different varieties of attack, can adapt to different teams, and have THE big game mentality of anyone in Europe.

Completely different sides.

If it was at anfield I would worry (with that many gormless faces looking at you it's bound to put you off your game), but one off away from there...they will be the ones that are caught like rabbits in the headlights. How many finals they lost in a row now? All that will be in their minds as they take to the pitch while Real know they will do whatever it takes to win. If there is a moment where they think they can win it will be the precise moment when they fold like a pack of cards.

Munich showed that they are vulnerable to the counter attack, don’t finish clinically and doubt themselves on the big stage. A horrible combo to play the RS.

Gerrard speaking as if tomorrow is a forgone conclusion and loads of kopites on bbc saying real have fluked their way because they're scared of them.

Alianz, turin and Paris they've won at

Mate, just take a look at the quality of the last two teams Madrid have played and tell me that they should fear a team that's a level below those two?

Madrid have never relied on outwitting opponents on tactics: why should they? They simply assemble the very best players in the world and sweep them aside. That's their tactic: buy big game players...and guess what - It works.

Liverpool’s record against top sides this season (despite the media spin on it) isn’t actually as good as it was in previous seasons. I’m hoping for a repeat of the Europa League final when on a neutral venue after the initial shock was over the class of Sevilla carried the game with ease.

Liverpool allowed City a lot of the ball and at times rode their luck. Madrid are so clinical that you would imagine they’ll need a different game plan.

They are bricking it. They wanted Bayern and got the giant of world football.

...and they dont get done by officials on big decisions...that will be the difference.
