Then we go sign Sunderland's keeper and a Burnley center back, and they've both been great. Maguire and Keane could've played very well together for a long time.

Like you lot I was banging the drum for Maguire having seen him loads of times at the KCom.
Time to let it go people, much as it hurts.

That United side had Rashford, Martial, Lukaku, Pogba over 90mins to work off less paced players Mata and Mkhitaryan - the more intelligent players.

We tend to play with a front three lacking pace. Lookman and Lennon are really the two that offer that, but are squad players. Mirallas is too hot and miss also

I think you misunderstand me mate. I never said we should play like United. We can't do that as we don't have their pace up front as you say. I'm saying that we should play with a similar high tempo as them. We don't need players who are extremely rapid to play that way. We just need speed of thought, quick passing, good movement and heavy pressing when not in possession.

I got that. But you still need that player who can break the lines and cap off that tempo.

You'll be hard pressed to find one of the top side's that doesn't have one of two players that round off that high tempo.

If not, you'll just end up like a Tony Pulis side.
